Welcome to Nomawethu, your trusted Rhodesian Ridgeback kennels in the heart of the Schwarzwald, in picturesque Glottertal, Germany. Here, on the historic Birklehof farm, we combine tradition, deep love for the breed, and decades of experience in raising balanced, confident puppies.

Socialization in Real Life

From the very beginning, the puppies grow up surrounded by familiar faces – both two- and four-legged. They experience everyday household sounds, outdoor adventures, and interactions with other animals. This helps them develop confidence from an early age.

Individual Care

During the first weeks, the puppies live in their own dedicated area, where they receive loving care around the clock. Later, they explore the entire home and enjoy the security and warmth of the whole family.

Quality and Responsibility

We stand with full integrity behind each of our puppies:

All puppies are only handed over after the litter has been approved by the VDH and after veterinary examination, vaccinations, and microchipping.

Our kennel name – and thus our reputation – is built on ethical, hygienic, and loving breeding practices. While we value health, longevity, show successes, and performance tests, our true goal is raising healthy and happy family companions.
